- Ability to play main instrument of choice with a number of years’ experience (how many?)
- Clear sign of musical talent on the instrument/voice is essential
- Must have their own instrument or access to one
- Interested in becoming a musician or a music teacher
- Passionate about music and strong motivation to learn more
- Good social skills are important
- Prior performing experience is good but not essential
- Ability to read music is good but not essential
- History of previous music education is good but not essential
- Female applicants will be treated preferentially
- Ability to understand and communicate in English at a basic level is a plus but not essential.
- Educational background is good to know.
