COURSE DETAILS
This training is designed to upgrade knowledge and skills of professional graphic-designers. The training will tackle skills training in the Adobe – Programmes Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign, how to set up a document well, to make working with it efficient and easy. It will also deal with the Corporate Design for a small project and the Design process in the Designer – Client relationship. Furthermore, the training will explore the rules and fine details of good typography and Orthography. Information Graphics will be a theme: discussing and highlighting good visualizations of Facts. WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?
The Modules are designed to upgrade knowledge and skills of professional graphic-designers. All Modules require knowledge and Skills in the Adobe-Programs.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
It is compulsory for participant to have a laptop with Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro. Participants are required to attend full day session of the registered Module(s)
DURATION
The training will take place from the 14th -22nd September 2017 (9.00 am- 5.00 pm) (With the exception of Sunday. Please note participants are required to attend the full day session of their selected Module to attain full value of the modules.
VENUE
The training will be held at the Bayimba Office in Kampala Uganda
TRAINERS
The training will be facilitated by a professional graphic designer Christine Voigts. Christine Voigts is an accomplished graphic-designer, living and working in Berlin, Germany with a focus in Corporate Design and business creativity for big companies.
FEE
Selected participants are required to pay a course fee of (25,000 UGX) per selected Module prior to course beginning. Kindly note that Module 1 is a 2 day session which will be charged at a fee 50,000) UGX. We accept payments through Cash or Mobile money.
HOW TO APPLY?
You are required to apply for participation by completing and submitting the application form with a profile/short biography (max. 800 words) with recent picture(s) that will be used for publicity, a motivation for your participation in the training (max. 500 words), Samples of your work.
