Course details
The training seeks to give an opportunity to creative writers interested in using African ritual, folklore, storytelling as a backbone in their writing.
Who is the training for?
The workshop is targeting playwrights, poets, song writers, short story writers, screenwriters and slam poets.
Duration
The training will take place from 1st to 18th of September 2014, in conjunction with the 7th edition of the Bayimba International Festival of the Arts.
Venue
The training will be held at the National Theatre in Kampala.
Trainer
The training will be facilitated by Deborah Asiimwe, Specialist with Sundance Institute East Africa.
Fees
There is no fee for the workshop but participants will be required to facilitate their own transport to the workshop. Meals will be provided.
