Course details
The training is designed to equip participants with essential business skills (in planning, marketing, management and finance) specific to the creative sector. During the course participants will be taken through the process of developing a business idea, the steps of developing and setting up a business as well as sustaining a business (incl. basic financial and legal knowledge).
Who is the training for?
The training is targeting artists and artistic talents of all arts disciplines as well as creative business owners that want to turn their creativity into a viable business.
Duration
The duration of the training is 3 days – dates and location depend on number of people registered.

Trainers
The training will be facilitated by Faisal Kiwewa (Director at Bayimba Cultural Foundation) with guest appearances of experienced business development experts and successful creative entrepreneurs.
Fees
The fee for the 3-day training is 50,000 UGX, to be paid prior to course beginning.
